Just wondering.... are you wanting training for pointing or flushing? You've got a bit of both in that pup. I'm interested because I'm thinking about getting a lab from a pointing breeding but only wanting it for flushing purposes.
My boys after a great rooster shoot. Trump, the yellow dog is a rooster machine. Tank, the black lab is a sandbagger (12 yrs old) but can mark fallen rooster hundreds of yards out. They are a great team.
In my limited lifetime experiences, males are less grudge holding and diabolical. Females are smarter and earn the name #$ches when they get their feelings hurt.
Anybody try the PSA dagger? I think I'm gonna try it out for the price and good reviews. Looks like a Glock copy cat. The G19 fits me well and you can use all the same accessories.
I don't really want another bear rug, but if somebody new where I could get a coat made out of a hide I'd be back in the game. Anybody got an idea of where I could get one made?
I would try running those dogs, if you don't already. 3-5 miles or so 3-4 times a week. On a leash is okay. Off a leash is better. It's works wonders once you get the piss and vinegar out of them.
140 grain accubonds and Magpro in my 270WSM. I'm not sure how many elk I've shot with it, but around four or five. Works as good as anything else I've used.
