Getting closer to start of our hunt. Bulls have really been cruising the last couple days. I imagine everything will be cowed up October 2 when we start.
Scouted the same are today. Saw another 15 or 16 moose. Bulls are slowly starting to move in. Seen a spike a two year old and a small 40-42” bull today
I have heard good things about the franchi and debated looking at one primarily for geese. I like the beretta a400 but the $2700 price tag in Canada I can’t justify spending on a shotgun
We are about 10 days out from season so I went for a drive this morning. Rut hasn’t quite started yet but should go any day now. Saw 15 moose this morning. 14 were cows and calves and one small bull
Shaggy mane mushrooms are out in full force here. Seen some tonight hit was just a bit late on them. Picked a bunch the other day and made some mushroom soup and some breaded and fried mushrooms
Before and after. Hit him back last night so came back this morning and thanks to a helpful magpie found him. Now to quarter and pack unfortunately. Better shot and I could have got him out whole lol
Yes I think I will get one and then play with stabilizers after. Helps my old quiver is borderline and a pain in the ass with micro arrows. I hold bow with my left draw with my right so you know if I need a left or right handed quiver?
