I shot the Trophy Coppers out of my 300wm before I started reloading. Don’t remember the weight. You do generally step down with copper bullets. I now shoot Hammers, 166gr. Have not shot TTSX. Bedding my hells canyon long range?
Try Hammer bullets. This is my 300wm Hells Canyon Speed. It is completely stock, with muzzle break. I’m a non lead guy so the gun has only had mono bullets through it. It shot Federal coppers decent before I had time to load for it. Then I spent an entire off season trying to make Nosler etips... -

As a resident I can confirm all your assumptions. All deer tags in CO are draw and use your points if drawn first choice. Sex doesn’t matter. In fact we have several Units that take more points for does than they do bucks. Some tags may make it to leftover and not use your points but they make...- Qubo

Diagnosing bullet seating issue (Frankford Arsenal Universal die making loud click when seating, inconsistent depth)
I have this similar issue with my Forster Micrometer die and Hammer bullets on my 300wm. I don‘t have CBTO problems cause I back out before every bullet and slowly adjust in. But I do get the ring on the ogive and the sliding lower collar sticks and pops on the first stroke. Didn’t have that...- Qubo
