Anyone Make X-bolt Stocks?

Dehydrating your own meals
Do you have any issues with not fully rehydrating? I was using vac seal bags too but just couldn’t them 100% without an insulting pouch to hold heat in. They’d be close but always had some stiff noodles or tough meat in there. Could be I was making mine in the summer and freezing them.- Qubo

Whitetails in North Park?
This thread is so funny to see. Took my bow for an armed hike this archery season in that area. Ran into this doe and fawns just south of Walden near the state park. Sure surprised me cause I had no clue they were in that area.- Qubo

I third the Viairs. Can’t remember which model I have but one for big tires. I know they are pricey but 3 weeks ago when I had to fill a 35” tire from flat to 50psi after plugging it on the side of the highway I was glad I spent the money.- Qubo

Bullet/cartridge choice
I run 166gr Hammers (all copper) in my 300WM for elk. My buddy runs 168gr Nosler E-tips in his 300wsm for elk. Recommend to him by the head bullet guy at Nosler. Can’t remember his name but the guy in Randy’s old reloading videos. Obviously I vote coppers.- Qubo

CO Elk harvest statistics
I do take the results into consideration but use caution. I don’t now what the percentage of people surveyed is. I will say though I am a resident and have at least 2-3 tags a year, sometimes more, both OTC and limited draw and I’ve never not been surveyed. I haven’t always done the survey... -
