Thanks for the breeder info Onpoint. We are going to start making call after the holidays.
Some great looking pups in the pics.
Guy, we have thought a lot about a gwp as well. We hunt a lot with friends gwp and drahths.
Hey Guys,
We are looking at a new pup in the next year or so and have settled on a WPG. We have an 11 yo Ch lab who has retired from hunting and a 5 yo GSP who is a rock star in the field but doesn't do well in cold water and, the wife says only one GSP at a time. So we have settled on a WPG...
4 door pu with at least a 6.5' box and a topper with a rack. No trailer to deal with and every thing is secure and dry. Elk racks tie nicely to a yak rack.
My wife has the lady hunter in 6.5 cm. She likes it a lot. It is accurate and a peach to handle. The only complaint is the stupid plastic mag. The gun is designed proportionally for women with a nice high cheek piece. Actually had thought of getting her a 223 for a nice practice gun. Didnt...
Maybe look at the kelvin pant. The are a puffy style and have full zips from the waist down. They may make it easier to put on. They are a little loud but you could run a shell over them to quiet then down a bit.
My wife won a mossberg silver reserve 20 ga and has been a great grouse killer. I kinda dissmissed it and was trying to talk her into trading it on a beretta but she didnt want to pony up a k to upgrade. Now I steal that thing and beat the crap out of it chasing ruffies. It has been a solid...
Hey Guys,
So I drew an Idaho muzzle-loader deer tag in unit 51 and the east half of 50. The season runs the month of Nov and I plan on hunting the week of thanksgiving. I have been doing my research and have am planning on the deer being down in the valley at that time likely around the ag in...
I have had marathons on my Ram since new in 13. Love them!!! I put them on and never had to adjust them or come loose. I usually take them of off once a year and put them in the washing machine. They paid for them selves the fist fall I had them. I jumped into the truck after a pack out no...
Get a good measurement of what size you need and call the manufactures. If they don't make one short enough, they may be willing to adjust one. My wife and I both use Exo. They do go fairly short and the way they attach the harness it looks easy to add a section of mollie to shorten it up...
The custer is nice for camping. Find a nice spot and camp. There is Shade and some pdog towns to keep you occupied. Check burn restrictions before you go. That wall tent might be warm in august. You can camp in the blm as well.
Welcome.
Oh to be 21 again....
I can't help you with unit 50 area other than I'll be out there in Nov chasing mulies with my muzzy.
Other than wasting some time, exploring new areas is not a bad thing.

I run a Sirui ET 1204. Like it. Weights like 2.5. It has a ball head with a separate pan feature. The pan kicks ass for gridding. It works with my 85mm scope and binos.
