A few days of light rain over here in ND has been helpful, but boy do I hope you guys get one heck of a snowpack next year. Lake Sakakawea is a hurting unit right now.
I know this is an older thread, but I figured I'd add my .02 for the next guy.
I run a Canon g50. It's a pretty good "prosumer" camera that comes in just below 1k. It is a bit shaky handheld, but on a tripod she is awesome. I mainly film 4k 30fps. Pretty good in low light as well.
I currently film with a mixture of 3 cameras.
Main camera - Canon M50
Secondary - Canon G50
Tertiary - gopro hero 7 black.
I feel like I have most situations covered between the three.
Whats up everyone!
I'm a "flat-lander". I live in the north-central portion of North Dakota. My family's plan is to move to the mountains within the next five years. My goal is to have enough property to plant a large garden, raise some chickens and, through hunting, provide a significant...
Hey everyone. My wife and I are planning a move out to Montana in the next 3-5 years. She is a NICU nurse so we are looking at either Kalispell or Missoula due to them having job opportunities for her. We currently live in north-central ND and feel like we don't have the opportunity to live...
Thanks for the advice everyone. We are at the very beginning stages of planning this thing, so I'll start looking into the logistics of where we should go when it is more doable. What I would really like to do is move to a small town and be more involved in the community than I am in the...
I wish I could. I have a LOT of money tied into my business right now, so I've got that hole to dig out of first. In that time we will be making a bunch of trips out west to see where we want to go. I'm leaning towards Kalispell/Missoula.
I'll start by giving a little background.
My wife and I have always been drawn to the mountains. When we were younger we took multiple ski trips out west. Since we live in the middle of North Dakota, our mountain time is few and far between, but there is just something about them that really...
Oh yeah! Opening weekend for North Dakota pheasants 2007! Some buddies and I had a great weekend and brought back a few limits of birds. We started cooking up some "Boneless BBQ Pheasant Wings" in the dorm kitchen. By the time we were done we had enough residents join us that we finished all...
Hello everyone! My name is Aaron and I hail from north-central North Dakota. Throughout the year you can find me chasing just about anything that is in season! I don't directly come from a hunting family. My passion for the outdoors is a result of my uncle taking me on a few hunts mixed with...
You guys rock, thanks for the posts. I know that the way I'm feeling is selfish. Honestly, I think I'm just sulking as I try to get used to my new life. I am beyond excited to get my little dude out with me, and absolutely appreciate all of your advice.
All of my young adult life I have looked forward to someday having a kid to pass on my passion for the outdoors. Well, 6 months ago my wife and I had a little boy. Now, don't get me wrong, I am so happy to have the little dude, but with him as come a DRASTIC decrease in my time available to...
