@buffybr @Greenhorn thanks guys. You made my day.
The thing about the pants was pretty simple; one extra deer tag, or a new pair of pants. I take the tag every time.
@Oak @SnowyMountaineer @huntin24/7 you guys are studs.
CO mule deer hunting as we know it will be over.
There will still be a couple big boys running around. But the average size buck will be significantly smaller than what was out there in more recent years.
I don’t agree. The only state deadlines that have passed are AZ elk/antelope, WY Elk and UT everything. Everything else is open. MT extended until April 1st this year.
This thing couldn’t have hit at a worse time in terms of applications. Lots of uncertainty out there. Possible mandated...
I have a few handfuls of points that I want to get rid of on a permit unit. If I didn’t have the points i would not be applying. 2,800 miles round trip and a $700 tag to shoot an 18” deer? That’s not for me.
Without a doubt - there will be less people in the hills this fall. Draw odds will improve. Guys won’t be putting in for 6-7+ states anymore. A lot of people will be affected financially by this in some way, shape or form.
Randy, I was looking at the 2019 detailed bonus point stats, and I was seeing zero NR 700-20 tags issued. (Not counting the 2 tags issued to nonresident landowners). Adding up all of the tags there came out to 250 issued tags, the actual quota.
Now that you mentioned 21 NR tags, I took a look...
Anybody know why there haven’t been any Bull permits issued to non-residents (non landowner) for unit seven hundred in 2018 and 2019?
Do resident landowners get first crack at the 25 non-resi tags?
Am I SOL trying to draw that tag for the foreseeable future?
Idaho is the most predator rich western state there is. Saw 6 lions last year while deer hunting. Saw 4 bears in 2018 while deer hunting a different unit. I’ll have a predator tag or two with me this year.
