    I’m making a drive out to Kansas taking the I40. NW Arizona is horrible. Grass isn’t even yellow, it’s grey. Patches of PJ’s turning brown, I’ve never seen that.     Definitely feel like the minority here in So Cal., enough to question the future of hunting. But, last November there were a number of guys hanging out their car windows on the 210 to look at the dead Colorado Mule Deer in the back of my truck, giving me the thumbs up. So not all is lost.

    Doing whatever it takes to get my hands on a 3rd season CO deer tag this year, if I missed it i know I’de regret it one day when I’m 80. Have a CO rifle elk tag and hoping to draw WY deer still. Long shots in ID and AZ.

    The big money hunts don’t feel as out of reach as the hard to draw hunts. The hunt I want to draw most is a Late Kaibab mule deer tag. Money hunt, Brooks Range Moose.
