Talked to a guy from Minnesota at Hell Creek bar in Jordan, Montana a few years ago. He replayed the way he had to finish off a mule deer doe with a rock that day because he ran out of bullets. I thought that was interesting. Kind of…
I’m making a drive out to Kansas taking the I40. NW Arizona is horrible. Grass isn’t even yellow, it’s grey. Patches of PJ’s turning brown, I’ve never seen that. NE Arizona is a bit better, yellow grass with some green to it in some spots. NW New Mexico is better than anything I saw in Arizona...

Doing whatever it takes to get my hands on a 3rd season CO deer tag this year, if I missed it i know I’de regret it one day when I’m 80.
Have a CO rifle elk tag and hoping to draw WY deer still. Long shots in ID and AZ.
The big money hunts don’t feel as out of reach as the hard to draw hunts.
The hunt I want to draw most is a Late Kaibab mule deer tag.
Money hunt, Brooks Range Moose.
Walking up on the first big mulie I killed is the best feeling memory I have, but it’s not my number one. THE most memorable moment I have is the big mulie I missed opening day in eastern Montana in 2006. That 5 seconds is branded into my mind. I still see it clearly. Too clear.
It was my 4th...
Im in for deer and antelope. Should draw general deer in a party app. But applied alone to try and snag an antelope tag in the random to add some color to the trip.
No tags drawn anywhere yet and i have no CC charge and my deer points still haven’t updated yet. Perfect storm combo for me not getting any work done right now.
