@David58 even though "Dave" would say sell it all until you can pay cash for it, only YOU can make the right decision for YOU and your family
I like Dave too, but at 50 I also have to weigh the value of the time I spend here on earth, hunting, loving my family, and enjoying all of God's great...
Ditto here. What with the fires last year and incredible heat this year I suspect it might suck but I'll be out in the woods.
I'll have 3 points for elk going into next year though, anyone have an opinion (HA!) on where to apply next year with good draw and success odds?
I've done either apple juice or nothing at all. The apple juice caramelizes but adds some good flavor, without it is just as good and I've since decided I won't do it anymore. Have only ever done full packers, usually 16-18lb range.
Our Daisy girl went out with dignity and grace in our home yesterday afternoon. The at-home vet actually handled it on our bed where she's been a fixture for the last 15 years. She even brought some daisies to place on the bed she used to carry her out in. If you live in PDX Metro area of Oregon...
Daisy has taken a turn for the worse. We’re having at home vet come today to give her final relief from her pain.
Prayers appreciated. I’m a complete mess.
🙏🏻 😭
Thanks SO7. She's lost quite a bit of weight and is really lethargic, but we're trying some new meds and change in food to see if she'll bounce back. I'm crossing my fingers and praying she stays for a while longer. I won't keep her here past her expiration date on my own account, but I'd sure...
You're absolutely entitled to your opinion, but commenting on this thread with it was a pretty shitty thing to do. Regardless of your opinion on my "ownership" of her I call her my fur baby because I think of her as family.
Clearly you lack the compassion to treat an animal the same way. That's...
My sweet fur-baby is 15 years plus... a mini schnauzer... fiercely loyal to our family and full of love. She's slowing down, not doing well on eating, and getting thinner month over month. She's developed plenty of ... challenges... but nothing that I would put her down for. Whizzing at odd...
I'm sure there are more technical answers to this dumb question, but can someone explain to a newbie what determines bag limits for controlled hunts? (I'm in Oregon, but perhaps this is more universal.)
For instance, if one unit is spike only and another is 3+ does that mean the 3+ unit is...
I also have a 32in waist and wear size Medium shirts. It all depends on the build, right? Height is definitely not a good enough metric to determine ideal weight.
The body does what the body does. I'd advise strongly against trying to manipulate the body's own metabolism and be okay with thin for now. I'm 6 foot 1 and weighed 128lbs until I was about 25, then year by year things changed and I gained a little weight. I'm now 50 and got as high as about 180...
Video content and explainer == good. I do like the mesh back idea WAY better than the wonky straps connected to my backpack. I would focus more on that.
Product... yea-no. I can't see myself using it, too cumbersome. Wish you luck though! Hopefully there are others not like me.
