How old is too old to hunt?
It's one thing to speculate on how someone else should handle their lives, it's totally another be facing your own age out point. Have 50 hunting seasons in the rear view. First time Elk Hunter headed to Az unit 23 Late Archery
Have not hunted this unit personally. Hunted in 22N a few years back (just west of 23). Tough hunt, elk move off the rim after the first major storm. Earlier comments about deep canyons is spot on, getting one out is a big concern. South end of unit above Roosevelt is not prime elk habitat... -
What to do/see near Mesa, AZ?
Fountian Hills Park is a nice walk. Payson is just 90 miles away if you like the pines. The 11th is 2nd Saturday in Miami for those that like Antiques & Art. Guayo's Mexican in Miami is a must try. Bloom Restaraunt in Globe is an Asian Fushion place that is very good.- Zellhouse
