I've seen it happen. Not necessarily high-point "glory tags" but it takes less than 5 minutes to pick off 10 tags for employees and friends. It's hard to say how pervasive it's been the past few years, since only "Reissue Day" mattered. I can't imagine this flaw won't be exploited this summer...- Saranac84

Deer/Elk combo hunts
I wouldn't waste time to come to Colorado on a OTC hunt unless it was my last option. The advice above is great- find an area in Wyoming with overlapping deer/cow seasons in early October. The weather is typically beautiful and you can chase bugles to the herd. -

Anyone who thinks this change is better for the average hunter isn't informed. Resissue tags will be significantly harder to acquire. I'd recommend going to your local fly shop and watching how many tags they can print before you get your CC processed.- Saranac84
