I have a Ruger American rim fire in 22lr and I’m teaching my niece how to safely shoot it with open sites. It has a bipod on it. She’s doing so so shooting at paper targets and clay pigeons. I’m wondering if I should get a red dot or a Scope for it to get her dialed in better? She’s left handed... -

Michigan Limited Firearm Zone
I’m wondering what other cartridges that I can use in Michigan’s lower half? The rule book states that you can use a .35 caliber or larger straight walled cartridge, but it has to be a minimum case length of 1.16” and a maximum of 1.80” case length. Thank you for your time and God Bless.- feedback

Type of Tripod used
Can anyone let me know the kind of Tripod that we’ve seen used in some of the Fresh Tracks + videos series? It looks to be some sort of magnetic one as far as I can see. I just haven’t been able to figure out who makes. Thanks for your time and keep safe out there. ( Used on their rifles)- feedback

New Ice Auger; What should I be looking at?
Everything I’ve read for the replies got myself thinking about the electric also. I’ve got a question though, what about the ones that you can use a cordless drill on. .204 ruger for headshots?
I thought the way I read the regs for the Southern Michigan zone, was that you could only use straight walled cartridges for deer hunting in the southern zone of Michigan. Because I own a AR15 cambered in .223 or 5.56 nato. I’d like to use on deer. Thank you for your time. -

Not worried about rust, just after receiving it right out of the box brand new. I’m guessing that the factory coating of oil or what not covering the whole weapon. What do you recommend for removing all of that? And thanks for your time. -

Rule of thumb for 20ga 2 3/4” shot size
I like to thank everyone for the feedback that I’ve received. It has helped me out a lot and now I’ve got to make sure I’ve always got money on me, so if and when I find some of these shells buy them and as many as I can afford. Once again thanks for the great input from everyone.- feedback
