Just go there for a scouting trip this summer. TX is close to the unit and many of us have driven much further to scout. Then go hunting, if that is what you want to do.

I had a great run the last five years and a good 2023 season. I think I will be putting in for far fewer tags than usual and more PPs and BPs. I plan on helping my daughter, son, and 79 year- old elk hunting mentor knock down some bulls.

I was able to drive through the Yukon twice and nearly swerved off the road to avoid hitting a stone sheep ram. I will never forget the stunning views burned into my mind from that amazing place!
