A decent head is not an option when filiming! panning has to be fluid and smooth or it looks terrible. I use a 501hdv fluid head made by Monfrotto plus I have one of their tripods.
reading this crap you have posted is like reading someone who has hunted bears a handful of times...its laughable. And NE WA stands for North East Washington and N ID stands for North Idaho.
all of the panhandle units have lots of bears... I would not start hunting till Atleast May 20th or so..Preferably end of may and beginning of june. Baiting can be really easy. We dump sweet Cob for deer and elk on cams in WA right on the ID border and get a ton of bears on it and some within...
Is this a joke? I have been on over 40 successful black bear hunts in NE WA and ID and half the stuff you wrote here is about a false as it gets! Please enlighten us on why in the " hell we shouldn't be hunting black bears in the fall" First off a fall bear has far better meat than a spring bear...
I wouldn't rule out fishing the Grande Ronde if your banking it.. Where Id fish if I was banking it, but like mentioned the "A" run this year is in the toilet which is the majority of the Rondes run.
At the Sheep show this year we had 3 guys at our table that had taken 7 sheep between the 3 of them from MT unlimited units.. One was taken last year scored 180"
Stalking mule deer up in the high country of Ferry and Okanogan is extremely difficult. The terrain is not friendly to sneaking in close.... that can also be said with the high country of Chelan too. Very low success rates. CO,UT and NV to name a few have great high country archery units that...
I use a Tightspot and always have my quiver off when set up. I carry a pistol in bear country, but spray isn't a bad option. I have had my fair share of black bear run ins
Should be spring Chinook in some of the pen rivers and some steelhead. Sol Duc and the Hoh rivers will have a springer run. Call Larry Scott with westside guide service 1-360-640-0546 he's top notch over there. Great guy.
When I am elk hunting in September with my bow in good mule deer areas I rarely see mule deer just due to the way I hunt elk. I could go back and hunt muleys and turn some bucks up. Elk Im using a lot of my ears and covering ground. Mule deer Id pack spotter and sit for hours in a spot and glass...
