I predict my 14th consecutive year without a pronghorn tag...
I'd like to predict drawing a tag for something, but after going 0 for 5 last year even that might be too ambitious.
After going 0 for 5 in the NM draw this year, I made plans to fly out to hunt deer in PA and NY in November. I've been talking about doing this hunt with some buddies for about 5 years, so I'm really excited to finally make it happen. As someone who has only ever hunted in NM, I'm blown away...
He's got to go. I could see some unacceptable behavior in the first scenario where he was cowering in his kennel, but putting a tooth through your wife's thumb just isn't acceptable. You've been bit, she's been bit, likely just a matter of time before the kids get bit.
Not sure if it's possible or not, but you might consider adjusting the contrast between the full volume bar and the black background. I was only able to find it by dumb luck, but maybe it's just my eyes?
About a week or so ago I went to our local UPS Store to mail out some knife blades to get heat treated. I told they lady there were knife blades in the box and she acted like she couldn't ship them. I changed my description to "metal" and she shipped it out.
I was going to shoot you a PM about your elk hunt, but it looks like you're so new or your post count is so low that I can't do that. If you want to give me your email address I'll send you some basic info and then I can answer any specific questions you might have.
Personally, after my experiences buying boots, there's no way I'd try to buy boots for others.
I wear Danner Pronghorns, but that's because they were literally the only boot at any of the nearby stores that felt good on my foot. Meindls rubbed in weird places, even when tied tightly in a...
Let's see:
2022: Not drawing NM Antelope
2023: Not drawing NM Antelope
2024: Not drawing NM Antelope
2025: Not drawing NM Antelope
I think you get the picture
-There appears to be a lot of roads in the unit. Is it worth packing in or just road camping? Not worth packing in.
-Are the roads all passable with a 4x4 pickup or does it make sense to bring a side by side? I would say the roads are passable, but I talked to some folks last year who hunted...
My dad was notorious for getting flats so he started carrying two spare tires instead of one. That worked great until the day we got 4 flats in one day. The first two were apart enough to not be an issue, but the last two happened on the same rock (cut the sidewalls) just before dark. Luckily...
Regardless of the type of license you have (Draw or Private Land), I don't think you can sell/transfer it unless you have approval from the NMGF Director.
If this is a private land deer tag, are you selling access to a specific property since those licenses are OTC? If so, it would be helpful...
When I look at my purchases on the NMGF website, it shows pending refunds with a date of 4/22/21 although they haven't shown up in my account yet.
From the email about draw results, "Unsuccessful applicants should receive refunds on credit cards beginning Thursday, April 22, 2021 and all...
Grats on the tag. Had that tag a few years back and bulls were bugling in early morning, but that was it. Bulls were also still with cows. Hunted around water and in grassy areas between water and saw elk. Didn't harvest, but that wasn't the elk's fault. The advice I've seen in the past...
First of all, grats to you and your wife!
If I understand things correctly, there would be 22 resident tags, 3 Guided and just 1 non-Resident.
26 total tags
84% for Residents would be 21.84 (gets rounded up)
10% for Guided would be 2.6 (the .6 is higher so this gets rounded up)
6% for...
