I try to make a year and a half but usually call the vet at 10-12 months when they lift their legs at work or in the house and that's that. Agree with the biddable comment, they won't lose their drive.- flatcoat

Unless you're an NP or PA, might I recomend suture strips rather than actual sutures. I had a buddy spend hundreds on some TacMed kit and ask me what for/how to use the 14ga catheter in it. Don't be that guy.- flatcoat

Idaho Unit 66 wolves?
Fish Cop in 66A said he was pretty confident those dogs were killed by a cat when I chatted with him. With the closure of the Palisades cow tag and attempt to bolster some of those elk numbers it will interesting to see if more established packs pop up. Idaho Unit 66 wolves?
5 or so years ago there were 2 sepearte incidents of bear hounds killed by the pack near White Owl Butte in Madison County, unit 64. Never heard of a dog being killed in 67. The last confirmed pack in 67 was completley terminated after they crushed a sheep heard but that's been some years ago...- flatcoat

2021-2022 proposals
I'm supportive of closing down Palisades cow tags. Unit 65 populations have been struggling and the cows get hammered during the late season rifle. Would be nice to see my back yard heard thrive, we hunt very similar habitat a few hours SE that has a combination or road less hunting, much less... -
Do I need 4WD? How Capable is Subaru Outback?
I drive a 15 Outback, as mentioned clearance is the issue. There are lots of 2" lifts out there for 12-1300$ that are pretty simple installs. I live in 65, but I bird hunt in the SE corner of 62 quite a bit and we have Brown bears showing up with regularity there.
