Agreed from someone who's been here for many decades. IMO Big Sky and the Yellowstone Club are the worst thing that could have happened to the Gallatin.
... and now they want to dump their shit into the river, literally. Supposedly after treating. Algae in the river the past few years is...
Raw firewood delivered for me to cut, split, stack, store, and move umteen times. It makes for an ache-inducing upper body workout routine ... with reward during subzero weather.
Wife's garden profuse flowers random arrangement accompanied by strawberries, raspberries, tomatoes, cucumbers, potatos, beets, onions, garlics, chives, many other herbs, and much good natural foodstuff.
And who would have thought Montana blueberries (imported from northern Oregon) would...
I'm pretty sure drones are to be classified as aircraft with respect to scouting for hunting in Montana. It is illegal to hunt the animal the same calendar day it is scouted by aerial means.
As a chronologically challenged pronghorn hunter, I'm not that horny anymore, so a doe is fine for me. Number one criteria is for an alfalfa fed antelope ... good eating!
Good luck out there, Chris. I know you will have fun.
Enjoy! You will be glad you expended the effort to get there. It's truly worth the effort and especially peaceful on foot.
Take the time to appreciate it's natural beauty and magnificence.
The story was on local Bozeman news today and it was evident that relief was felt deeply.
Even with the hype and perception of the rampant growth and impacts to the Bozeman area, this is still fundamentally a rural state and area that has difficulty coping with any murders or other horrific...
Party animal!
I have been applying MILESTONE to spotted knapweed for many years and find it effective. Sadly it's not just a battle with noxious weeds, it's a war for years and years continuously to keep it at bay.
We don't need no stinkin' drones or ebikes in the Bob! It's bad enough that the noisy clip clop of hooves over the stock bridge on North Fork of the Sun drives Sytes and me nutso!
I have always wondered what the effect on weight distribution is on a toy hauler trailer when a heavy UTV or ATV is at the very rear of the trailer. It would seem that an up-force on the hitch could cause sway.
Can you address that concern?
Yep, it's a fine tool, that Pythagorean theorem. Volun-teaching geometry to the local eighth graders I always emphasized the important relationship of the "hippopotamus" to the adjacent animal sides of the right triangle. Try using that term in explaining to the "aliens", Hank.
Oddly not really horse people, my wife & I hike and backpack but have had horses at our place for kids growing up. Son and daughter both in high school rodeo, then MSU Rodeo Team competing in College National Finals Rodeo. (Son still coaches and team ropes; daughter has an accounting firm, but...
I have a 2012 RZR 800 and wish it did not have the power available. 'Haven't needed it or the speed in mountains or for jobs required. ... and I wish ATVs and UTVs were a helluva lot quieter. You'd think it could be done in this modern age!
