New Mexico is going up in flames
How is Colorado these days? I haven't looked since November but it was pretty dry then. Went up for a late rifle took chains... never had to put in 4 wheel drive.- WhitetailHillbilly

Otc Colorado units 82,83,62,and 65
I've spent just a little time in 62 & 65. We road camped and they would come down and bugle at night on private. There can some access issues issue as the low areas are private some BLM. Boots for September elk hunting
I can't speak to the Lowa or Kenetrek I've heard they are very stiff. I have some Crispi Idaho that I absolutely love. There is really no or little break in. Is there a "point creep" solution?
The best solution is avoidance of the point systems all together. For the states that due have them in place I think the best solution it to require you to apply, maybe every other year or they purge your points and/or put a reasonable cap on points like 5-6. Would anyone else care to give praise to the .308 ?
I started out hunting with a 308 when I was very young and loved it. Then I bought my first rifle a 30-06 and thought I was a bad arsh! (I was 13).
