unit 10 Look at these areas, I saw bulls there scouting before. long point, aubrey cliffs,black tanks camp,, the wilderness, red dam, coconino plateau - the elk were out in the open antelope country. also in the state trust lands along cataract canyon... Good luck -

NV Muzzleloader 072-074 First For Everything
I once saw 30 bulls in the draw cr area scouting a deer hunt in Aug. Hiked up the trail out of mary's river and didn't see a hole lot. A few smaller bulls. One mixed in with 500 sheep outside the wilderness. If the peruvian sheep hearders are around, talk to them if you speak a little... -

New Mexico unit 34 elk
we have the muzzleloader tags this year. had the tag before a couple times, lots of bulls still talking in mid oct... 2 years ago ran into lots of small bulls, watched em fight at 40 yards, but just rag horns. never found a bull over 300 in.... fun hunt... -

unit 100 Wyoming... You'd need max points for a bull tag, but 1 point for a cow tag. You can but a pref. point this summer for next years draw. Wide open sage country, tons of elk..I took a couple of handicapped hunters there some years back. The biologist called it the 600 pound antelope...
