Smith Corona 30.06 I bought from a coworker at Grease Monkey in 1998 in Ft Collins. He needed $ for a date and I got it for $90 with a case. An incredibly accurate rifle with a Bushnell scope. Killed multiple elk including my first and my wife's first. A couple of decent mulies too. Definitely...
Our horses have helped a ton for elk packing and hunting. I'd rather not use them while hunting as they make for more work. However, I really enjoy calling my pack team (wife, horses, dogs) when I get an elk down.
This guy couldn't figure out what the heck I was last night. 38 yards for about 5 minutes before he caught my wind and left the area.
I wish I could easily upload the great, short videos I got of him barking and yipping.
Yes, I set down my bow and picked up my camera instead.
We have the telescoping ramp like in sytes post. It works great for our 14 year old border collie. The carpet helps too. Used it this morning with him to get in the 3/4 ton suburban.
Last Sunday, some coworkers and I went into a natural cave behind our property. Thankfully, 2 of them are very experienced rock/ice climbers.
Bucket list stuff.
During High School, USFS LEO's John Benshoof and Lenora Arevellos (sp?) in Northern Colorado kept our crew in pretty good check. Thankfully, Benshoof's daughter was always with us and he'd let a few things slide.
Lenora was brutal.
I'm sure they will never forget Rocky Mountain High School...
