I haven't had any problems with the carburetor so far. I'm usually riding between 6000-9000 ft around our place. The factory carburetor (1987) was completely gummed up and I replaced it entirely with a cheap $45 Amazon one. Runs great and I only use the choke on the first startup of the season...
I've had great luck with my little late 90's Mercury 9hp on a 17' Alumaweld drift boat. Bought it 4 years ago as a barn find and haven't done anything to it yet except run it lots of times at nearby Georgetown Lake and East Fork Reservoir. Good unit for sure.
My 2 Leupold vx-3 scopes have worked great on my old Ruger M77 30.06 and my old Ruger #1 300WM. They have been mounted on those rifles for 30+ years. 300 yards is about my max shooting distance.
No complaints here.
I have the Frog Toggs hip waders because they were cheap. I use them about 15 times per fall elk hunting (crossing a river) and a handful of times fishing per year. They have held up great and I've had them for 3+ years.
