Didnt you tell me your getting a 300 mag for our elk hunt tthis fall:) I just got a 300wsm for long range setup before that i used my 308 for everything just know your max range with ach caliber your considering and what you want to do with it and you will find the right one. Good luck.- mconway951

Favorite 243 bullet for deer....elk....

So i was looking at the regs for ID and the Selway is a 2 bear zone now i am guessing that that is a year correct? Like i cant shoot two there in the spring and take another on my fall elk hunt right?- mconway951

There are a few deer in the grasslands but lot more mule deer there then whitetails i have seen about 75 to 25 mix of whitetails to mule deer though in the black hills and it is really pretty country to hunt as well.- mconway951

Some stuff it just too funny
LOL not to mention stubling around in the water in alaska or throwing a buddy off the boat in 6 feet of water.
