That certainly gets the blood racing. 4 days until the big tin bird gets me state side. The temperature seems to be dropping considerably in the next couple of weeks. Does this hinder or help the rut?? -

Big north Australian hog. Unusually hairy for the super hot climate. He made it 5 yards from his cool wallow. The fox got an arrow in the brain box. Misjudged the the down hill angle - was hoping it would drop into his chest - end result same.- OzzyDave

Guided Hunts--when would or have you done them?
I’ve done 2 here in Australia - abosutely woeful. 1 in Idaho around 2010 (Elk). Didn’t fire a shot in anger but it was the most memorable hunt I’ve EVER been on. 6 hour horseback ride up many, many switchbacks to get to base camp had a million photo opportunities. 3x9x40 vs 3.5x10x50
Like others have said above, the 50 definitely allows more of available light in. We are allowed to shoot critters under spotlight here and a 50mm for night shooting is the cats meow.
