Traditional Cap Guns - Let's See 'em!

Kentucky rifle, Traditions kit. .50 cal, 33 1/2" barrel. Lots of fun to build and shoot. Surprisingly, it shoots MaxiBalls (320gr) well - approx -3" group at 100 yds

    THOR-one size fits all?

Looks like I'll have to try these out. I already did the sizing pack - .502 for my Strikerfire LDR. If they shoot equal to or better than the BOR 350 (lead) bullets, I might have a new favorite.

    Javelina tags in Arizona $$$$

I think the entertainment value alone is worth the price of a tag. Those Javvys are fun to hunt. And in January, you can get OTC tags for deer (mule or white tail) and javelina.

If you missed the draw for the spring 2020 hunt (13 OCT), there are still opportunities afterwards - always leftover tags available. azgfd.com

Short to moderate range multi purpose cartridge for 7mmRM

Try some Barnes 150g TTSX or the Federal Trophy Copper 150g (if you can find them). My Browning A Bolt II loves both.

    Federal B.O.R.LOCK ammunition

I guess I got lucky with my barrel and the BOR 350gr bullets. They load somewhat easy - I can seat them without a short starter, but they don't just slide down the barrel. So there is enough friction to keep them firmly in place while I'm walking around, without risk of losing contact with the...

    Federal B.O.R.LOCK ammunition

I get great accuracy from the B.O.R. 350gr (lead) bullets. Here's my setup: Traditions Strikerfire LDR, 350gr B.O.R. bullet, 115gr Blackhorn 209, CCI Magnum primers, Vortex 4-12x40 scope, zeroed at 150 yds. Last time out shooting, I put 3 rds in a 1" group, shooting from bench rest. Fired two...

    Military and First Responders

Not too bad. If you send in a copy of your DD214, make sure to black out the SSN. They don't need that.
