    The insulated Nemo pads are surprisingly comfortable and do keep you warm. Probably overkill, but I also place an insulated fold up thermarest under it mostly because I don’t want the pad to get punctured on anything.

    Trioxane tabs used to be my go to, but they didn’t store well once you opened one. I just tried Pyro Putty on a camping trip and the stuff works great. I also like the small tin it comes in. Going to order a bunch of the .5 oz cans.

    PA bear season

    For those of you that have taken a black bear in PA, how do you pack them out? Gutless method and quarter them? Also how do they taste? I’ve never had a desire to go after bear because I hear varying reports on the meat quality.
