In my opinion, I hope the current college system remains in tact. I feel the social interacts you learn as a young adult are just as important as the actual education you would learn from a professor. I believe the greatest benefit from any education is human interaction. Just my two cents. I...
High end binos to start with. Get a quality pair of 10x42s and spend the rest of the money on tags. You will figure out what you need gear wise the more time you spend out in the field.
As a die hard coues deer hunter 15x56s on a tripod are my got to. I use a spotter in long range to help judge a deer to determine the trophy quality and to take videos. Since you already have a 10s and a spotter, a pair of 15s will help out on any eye strains. In the market of 15s, I have used...
I worn one during last years hunt in Colorado when the temps got into single digit, kept me warm no problem. Keep the nose and face protected, no problem. I didn't have any problems with moisture, once the temps warmed up all moisture evaporated and you would just pull it down like a mask to be...

CO: Elk, deer, sheep, pronghorn, even bear.
KY: Elk
NM: Everything...
I messed with the 145 lrx with Rl-17, H4831sc and rl-26, my rifle didnt like any off those. I have some 143 hammers loaded up with RL-26 to test when I get a chance.
I am trying Hammers, Barnes and E-tips in load development for new rifles I pick up. If they work great, if not I will try something else that until I find that load I am looking for. I am not switching over from lead in proven, accurate loads I have already developed though.
My kimber likes the 140 accubonds and H4831sc. If your're looking into using bergers, check out the 140 hunter classic. Higher bc then the vld and not as finicky in seating depth. My 270 win loves them and easy load development.
I am doing pretty good, growing up in somewhat rural AK, I have always had a nice stash of canned and non perishable goods in the pantry. My wife would always roll her eyes at the more canned goods that I would bring home but she is more understanding now.
I went to a gun store today to pick up...
I have a kimber hunter in 280AI and I am having some fun trying to find a load for it. I know a lightweight rifle can be hard to shoot accurately compared to a heavier one. Mine hasnt shown repeatable accuracy with barnes 145 lrx with multiple powders. On to the next bullet. My savage...
