My wife picked up this pound puppy that I named dingo because that is what he look like. He ate the normal stuff, couch, stairs, drywall, carpet and any kind of food that was left out. He ate a watermelon once and to this day he loves cucumber. He once ate a whole chicken that he knocked off...
Driving a v10 with a 26 gallon fuel tank, making it past 200 miles between fill up is a challenge and if towing forget about it. I put a 45 gallon tank that is 9.5" wide in the bed to help extend my range.
We had two of them as work trucks, hauled a generator and tools around in style. The bed is short on the rebels but they got some get up and go. The ones we had were equipped with air ride suspension so I don't think you could mess with it too much.
One had rear end problems at around 140k if...
Ya I would go with the ultralight 300 wsm and pick up a used 325. You can find good deals on them because the lack of available ammunition, I got my 325 model 70 extreme weather for 750. If you want the correct head stamp then 325 brass can be hard to find, if not just neck up the plentiful 300...
The lack of available loaded ammunition for the 325 over the 300 if you don't reload. Even if you reload the selection for .323 bullets is nothing compared to the selection of .308 bullets. I have both cartridges but if I was going to build a rifle it would be the .300 wsm just because of the...
I have bought and sold plenty of optics online. I always use paypal with good&services if purchasing from an individual, the extra 3% is less then the sales tax anyway. No problems with any demo optics from dealers and they usually look brand new unless otherwise stated. I haven't been burned...
Definitely look into the remington AWR or winchester 70 extreme weather. I have both rifles and the winchester is a bit more expensive but comes with the fluted barrel and CRF if that matter to you. I use my model 70 in southeast AK with no problems.
I have an 15' 3.5L in my wife's expedition, just over 100k on it. Plenty of power and acceleration with those twin turbos. It's a 4x4 el model, so heavier then an f150 and we are getting 13.5 in town and 15 on the highway. I rented a 19' model with the ten speed transmission, while mine was in...
I have an 03' f250 that I do all the maintenance and parts changing myself. I have changed out the front end and all the normal wear part including the normal puking of a spark plug. I dont mind the dents and scratches it gets while out wheeling. Does the gas mileage suck? Yup. Does my 19' F250...
I have a UML that wouldn't shoot at all. I should have figured something was up when the breech plug was damaged from the factory and it was tumbling the supplied sabots. After spending to much time and money trying different bullets that would not work, I had it rebarreled by Arrowhead rifles...
I have ran into several while out coues deer hunting in AZ during the October and November hunts but never taken any pics.
I was packing out a mule deer from the Nov hunt in NM with my gear and I ran into these lovers. I actually jumped over them somehow when I almost stepped on them. If...
I tried the 200 grain barnes tsx but my rifle didnt like them. I ended up using the 200 gr partitions in my 325wsm. H4350 worked but I got much better velocity with RL-17. I couldnt find any accubonds during my load development so I never tried them.
I put a Zeiss V6 3-18x50 on my 325 wsm because I snagged one for a killer deal. I would go with a VX-5 3-15x44 or the vx3 4-14x50. I use talley one piece scope rings on most of my rifles that dont have a picatinny rail with no problems.
I have Timneys on several of my rifles including the calvin version. I tried the Triggertech to see how they are and I believe they are smoother the Timneys. I will switch over to trigger tech on up coming rifles.
