It's hard for a midwest flatlander that will be home within 3-5 days to tell you but, I "bought" into the cooler craze a couple years ago with a Orca 65, Do I like it? yes; Does it hold ice well? yes, BUT so do my cheap coolers that get opened constantly. Like someone else mentioned, if they are...
after flip flopping multiple times on which 2nd dog to get, we put a deposit down for a PP for next spring; we currently have a 9 year old british lab that we love, he'll never be replaced. But since hes 9, I'd figured we'd start the new chapter in our bird hunting lives along with ending one in...
thanks guys, yeah it looks pretty good for odds this year, but the new change of splitting the 10day to 2-5days may attract more guys; oh well, 1 preference point is almost a guarantee it looks like!
So I am confused; Looking at the bill itself it says
ok, its going towards maintenance right? maybe "deferred" is what has me confused... and my congressman's secretary replied with somewhat of a generic response against it but his argument against it is to use the fund towards maintenance🤷♂️...
first time, so 0:rolleyes:
thinking of the North central zone, the one to the west of the NE zone.
Ok thanks, I'll take another peak, the last time I checked i thought this years structure was different than the previous years(y)
my buddy and I are going to apply for the NR duck season in South dakota this year, what are the draw odds lately? seems like they've been changing the structure every year?
thanks!
I just purchased one early March, a 2013 Screw with 6.5' box with 80k on it; i really wanted the 5.0 due to the timing chain issues, but since this one came with a lifetime powertrain warranty, i bit the bullet. I really love the power. BUT I did start getting a inconsistent timing chain symptom...
^^^This; just pick out the visibile pellets/feathers best you can.
My wife is always skeptical of me now when we are eating any birds, Steel shot doesnt give as much as Lead...
My son and I went out saturday morning for our first hunt, it was a great time--still kicking myself for not taking any pics :(-- heard 2-3 different gobblers, a couple were far away, one was responding, unfortunatley he was across the stream so that was cool. My 5 year was getting antsy about...
I cant seem to find a answer besides old blogs for NM. But my brothers wedding has been delayed to September now in NM; it got me thinking if there are any over the counter archery tags available for deer or elk?--Thats also if there are any seasons open by then...
Seems like around here you dont see turks in the fields early evening but we dont have that many turkeys around vs the southern half of the state; My son and I checked out one of our spots I had cameras out and had one flock walk by yesterday morning 2 toms and 3 hens; walking back to the truck...
been going out the last couple evenings trying to listen to roosted birds; found one hen all by herself roosted up is all.
How often will toms gobble before dark?
I did bring my coyote howler call to try to get a shocker out of one but no luck so far.
Will try again tonight, found a nice piece...
Great tool; the only downfall I've found around here is that we have alot of "tax forfeited" land aka County owned land. And for the most part, they stay in county hands indefinitely, but the county does sell some of these chunks--would be nice to have a "Last updated" date in your states map...
Welcome Ben! You make it back to the UK much? I usually have to go 1-2 twice a year to our office in Knaresborough- North of Leeds-- I am meaning to try to find a fly fishing guide the next time I have more time out there!
You are in a great deer state. Some great resources here, I would also...
its been cold here too, not sure my son would be able to last too long in the morning and being its our first turkey season, I dont want to sour his mouth on turks!
