    "Greenwashing at it's best"

@CowboyLeroy - seems to me that we have a lot of surface area on buildings that can be used instead of taking up ground space. Need to workout the issues with utilities and who is "generating" the energy. @BigHornRam - agree, Trex lasts a LONG time, claims to be recyclable and doesn't need all...

    "Greenwashing at it's best"

Wow - trying to follow this conversation can really make one's head spin! The recycling "promise" was strongly advocated by plastic manufacturers with no intention to do anything with the product at the end of it's useful life, they left that problem to the public to figure out. Even claims of...

Wow... just putting it out there, Sportsmans Warehouse has their Leupold event with some good prices. I picked up a pair of BX-2 10x52 a couple weeks ago and am very happy with them.

    Wyoming Corner Crossing Defense Fund

Can anyone answer the question of whether the civil case is presenting a tax liability issue? If the value of the land decreased by that much aren't the liable for lack of proper tax valuation? I am sure they didn't inform the county that their land was worth that much.

    Ideas for Podcasts

I was listening to the Protecting Public Ownership of Wildlife podcast and your discussion of the positives of Montana's approach compared to other states made me wonder. Being a native to WI I am familiar, to some degree, to their position on access to water, public land access, easement...

    Ideas for Podcasts

I appreciate the advocacy that Randy talks about, getting involved and providing a voice. Maybe share more ways to be involved, those that take minutes, hours and days.

Flashlight? Do yall carry one or just your headlamp?

I have a small flashlight, uses one AAA battery, that I will more readily grab to look in a bag or in the tent. Still have the headlamp but it just doesn't fill that need, nor does the light take up that much room or weight.

This is a great thread, thanks for all the perspectives! Has anyone tried the Huel Hot and Savory meals? It looks interesting wherein you could divy if up for whatever size portion you want, still just needs hot water.

    Roads open to public access

I ran into this issue this past year. GoHunt looked like the road went into the public land but when I pull up there is a gate through the small wedge of private, cutting off access for miles! It even looked like a county road on the maps... All of the gates were clearly marked with no...

New Backpacking Stove - Camp Chef Stryker

We had been wanting to get into backpacking and needed a more compact stove. After much consideration and review I settled on the Camp Chef Stryker 200. I liked that it was able to use the isobutane canisters as well as propane, it included an adapter for the propane tank. During my elk hunt...

    HOWA questions here

Good to know - so it all worked out with the inconsistent serial number from the box? Funny how you posted it and it was read in that time. It made me think I was going nuts since I couldn't find it after 45 minutes of searching every keyword I could think of...
