    have them in 30-30, 45-70, 17hmr. i love them. if the price is right for you you should buy that one in 280. they are surprisingly accurate and fun to shoot and with a little practice you can reload them fast enough to make most follow up shots.

    Used a $250 Alps Mountaineering, spent a night in 50 knot wind with gust of 70 knots, fairly comfortably. would highly recommend it, and probably won't ever buy another brand of tent.

    hard to tell since photos are fuzzy. doesn't have its winter fur coming on yet, that will change up looks a bit. at the very least its a good one to keep track of. best of luck to you on your hunt.

    i dont hunt with a muzzleloader, but it is my understanding in MUZZLELOADER ONLY hunts it must be traditional no modern style rifles or optics i could be wrong though

    DG363 Mountain goat YES! drew this same tag year before last, got to hunt two days and didn't have the time or the weather to go back for the rest of season. NPADEN you drew my bison tag.... Congratulations, now go put in for the lottery and PCH, you got the worse odds out of the way.

    black bears on the kenai peninsula sometimes wake up late march but are never out in any real numbers till about 2nd week of April. other than that you are pretty much stuck with small game. winter king fishing on kachemak bay is another option.
