Any idea when they will draw? The suspense is killing me. Drew a moose when I was 13 and had no idea what I had. Shot the first bull I saw. If I draw again I won't make the same mistake.
Lucky 2013,
Congratulations! Tag of a lifetime. I hope your scouting has treated you well. We intend to hunt north of Winifred along Whiskey Ridge Road primarily. Weather may change those plans however. My dad has a difficult time getting off work but I am going to do everything I can to ensure...
Thanks you guys! I really appreciate the responses. This is the sweetest site for hunters and outdoorsman. You can bet I will post a story and some pictures if my dad is lucky enough to get one!
Hello Everyone!
My dad drew a 482 sheep tag and I was curious if anyone had any advice or tips for us. I will be helping him around my teaching and coaching schedule so any info would be greatly appreciated. We have done some scouting without seeing any sheep but have seen some amazing country...
Thought I would throw this out there to see if anyone had any advice for sheep hunting. My dad drew a Missouri Breaks (482) ram tag. We have done some scouting without seeing any sheep but have seen some amazing country. If anyone has any tips on what part of the unit to focus on it would be...
I ran into a cinnamon/chocolate boar yesterday and decided he was the color I was looking for. Not the biggest bear (5 1/2 ft.) but pretty. He was starting to rub out pretty good. He was also eating the roots of those yellow flowers.
Lucky Mike is a lucky man. Great pictures! I also harvested a moose up Beaver Creek several years back. My grandpa put in for that tag (I believe 309) for 32 years and never drew it and I drew it my first year applying.
