Guess the width/score
Maybe I estimated the score too high. I thought he was 28" wide and his gross score was 170" +/- 2". I have a hard time believing he is less than 27" wide and scores less than 160". Deer in this area tend to have ears that are 24" when laid flat out. I think he has 23" ears which is slightly... -

I posted this on MM but I don't think most of those guys know how to judge a Muley. What do you guys think. What do you think this bucks gross score and outside spread is? He is really symetrical and should have a net score within a few inches of his gross score. Here is another picture... -

Few Idaho Bucks
Yes, it is the same buck. His rack in the "inset picture" looks like his main beam and G4s substantially curve in but it is just the antlers of a small buck behind him. It was just starting to get light outside so the pictures didn't turn out very good. I'm going to see if I can find this buck... -

Few Idaho Bucks

ID moose, sheep, goat
I hope I get lucky this year and pull a moose tag. Anyone know the exact dates the F&G have posted the results other years? Utard gas worker whacks winter range buck
Good to see another poacher get what he deserved. His fine and loss of hunting privlages still isn't fair compensation to legal hunters IMHO but at least the judge threw the book at him. -

Moose
I also put in for moose in Eastern Idaho. I don't count on drawing but thought I will never draw a moose tag if I never apply. Unit 63 doesn't look like moose habitat but there are a few there. It is kind of strang seeing moose standing in the Snake River Plain where there is mostly sage brush...- BrianID

Bucks fighting in your area?
I see bucks sparing as soon as the velvet comes off every year. I've probably seen bucks lock antlers about 4 or 5 times this fall. These are not serious fights like they have close to the rut. I think they are just pushing each other around and testing their strength. -
