    Colorado is really taking the masks seriously. It’s night and day from Pennsylvania were businesses are posting signs stating they don’t care if you don’t wear one. I was 5 miles into a hike in RMNP and got scoffed at by a lady for not wearing one. I couldn’t breath as is at 11k feet without one!

    Ive also been searching for houses and the prices are insane. Anything decent is immediately bid on and goes for well over asking. Twice I tried to see a house and they were sold before a showing could be scheduled.

    Fixed Head Broadhead Swap

    I have three wasp havalon broadheads in 100 grains. They have only been shot at a foam target and have replacement blades. Looking to swap for fixed blades in 125 grains to fill the rest of my quiver.

    Fortunately it has not been handed down to me yet, but my father’s Remington 700 that he purchased new in the 1960’s full of decades of wear and use will one day be handed down to me. One day I will have a very reflective walk in the woods with that rifle. I will be fortunate to have luck with it.

    What's on the smoker today?

    It turned out awesome! Toasted buns and homemade sauce. Can’t beat staring at a grill for 8 hrs all day. Well worth it the wait.

    First attempt at a smoked pork shoulder. I had a boneless picnic roast in the freezer, will not use that cut again. Wrapped it in foil about an hour and a half ago and it’s still climbing. Smells and looks great.

    Physical Conditioning @ Home

    Did a flatlander hike today with 55lbs. The first part of it is maybe 300ft of gain over about 1/2 of a mile, the rest is a nature stroll 😂. Worked up slowly from about 30lbs and felt great. Still huffing and puffing but my quads no longer burn.

    My first ever attempt at gardening took a turn for the worse. All of my tomatoes got blossom end rot. I do have Several loaded pepper plants though.
