The trucker hitch is one of my favorites for guy lines, and some kayak stuff. I like the looks of those fancy tensioner knots above, I may have to try one. Now I cheat and use Lineloc adjusters.- JFish

Camping tips
For those of you that hike back in and set up a spike camp. Do you have to worry about critters chewing up sleeping bags and sleeping pads if you leave them in your tent at camp while your out? -

I had to shoo a marmot off for 5 minutes. Caught him doing something to my backpack on the ground. Now I know what he was doing! He was persistent too, even a pebble to the dome wouldnt keep him away. -
Tire Ratings
Ordered up the K02s yesterday. Not a ton of other options in my 20 inch tire size that were D rated or higher. K02s seemed to be the best option. I’m looking forward to comparing them to my stock tires I’ve been running. Thanks for the input.- JFish

After going cheap on the last few things Ive bought and regretting it, I think I’m going to pony up and get the K02s. The Toyos in my size were SL rated and were more expensive, and the other options in my tire size for D rating or higher were about the same price. Thanks for the input all.- JFish

NEW HOUSE COSTS
We looked at a place in PA, nice house 300ishK with about an acre. Taxes were 10k a year for a pretty poor school district and no local police coverage. No thanks.- JFish

Which headlamp??
I have a black diamond storm as well. Great headlamp, it usually takes me a few minutes to figure it out after not using it for a few months. I did find out that reversing a battery will not stop it from turning on. It will still turn on if the button gets depressed, but it’s considerably dimmer.- JFish

I just purchased a VIAM outdoors 10 degree quilt for about $200. I had a nemo steelhead 20 degree, but I have wide shoulders and found it uncomfortable when it got cold and I had to get fully inside. My first ever home grown tomato. Thanks to corona boredom I started a garden. I went deep down the rabbit hole of growing tomatoes and had no clue there were hundreds of kinds. Homemade bread, home grown tomato, mozzarella, basil and olive oil. Can’t wait for another to ripen.- JFish

Correct they were both captured in Rocky Mountain National Park. Believe it or not my wife took the first picture while I was fishing. I was a bit jealous because I just handed her the camera and she doesn’t know how to use the adjustments and but got a really great picture. One of the best... -
