Low left tear on Hoyt Carbon Defiant turbo help.

Yeah i did that and it seems to cross at my nock point.. but i know ive more of a left cam lean at idle than i do now. But thats part of the reason i replace strings more frequently cuz the top cam eats my serving.

Low left tear on Hoyt Carbon Defiant turbo help.

So historically this bow has been tough to tune. Last year I had bullet holes and broadheads flying great. I had a pro shop place new string and cables this spring. We did our checks with timing and poundage. Right at 70# maxed out limbs and checked stops and they were both hitting with a solid...

    Montana Non-Resident Elk hunting Questions

Yes you need to apply for a general elk combo or big game combo to be put into a selected LE elk drawing. When you do this you will have option to pick a LE district that you want to get lucky on. This is where you can build bonus points while applying. You will also select the option to retain...

    Idaho hates NRs.

The pricing is what it is. Its not awesome and I hate thinking about people who dream about hunting out there but just can't drum up the funds. The thing that I get a little rattled with is the decrease in NR tags. I know there should be a balance weighted heavy for the residents of that state...

    Idaho hates NRs.

Haha I know that no worries, just felt that I had to state it. I was stewing on that Wyo bill that didnt pass. That had me upside down all day. I 100% understand as a resident how alot of them feel but here I am a little further east and every day until sept-nov i think about the mountains out...

    Badlands Clothing vs. Kuiu

I hunt with a group of guys every year. Badlands, sitka, first lite and kuiu. Seems like everyone has their favorite. You cant go wrong with any of them. I run with Badlands, compared to my older camo my comfort level has made all situations enjoyable. Ive hunted in 70 degree days and -26degree...

    Unit 39 Wyoming type 9

Go Hunt has a great tool that will help you look at draw odds. Also Wyoming GF hunt planner will give you some material. You should be able to look at historical harvest data, hunter numbers... google earth. Find what you are looking for in a hunt, how you want to hunt then that may help you...

    Unit 39 Wyoming type 9

Apply for it, if you want this tag then go for it. If you don't get it you build your points and you have an even better chance next year. If you just want to buy a point and try to draw a deer tag for that unit and do some scouting that is a great plan as well. Have you been to this unit...

Favorite or Best best wrist release out there and why?

Currently in the market for a new release as my spott hogg was accidentally misplaced on the mountain this last September. I have been looking closely at Carters but there are no shops around that carry them. I might go back to the spott hogg if I can't find anything better. My only complaint...

My First Western Hunt - Montana Elk 2019

Being from MN I know what you are looking for in this post. It is tough to get out there and see it first hand. E scouting is the next best option but man as I am sure you found out, it doesn't paint the whole picture when you get your feet on the ground out there. Just keep at it, be a...

Question regarding Browning Hells Canyon Long Range Rifle Stock

Yeah so the duratouch stock is nice, I do like how tacky it is however there is a fair amount of flex in it especially around the barrel. I was wondering with the vibrations that roll down the barrel and the uneven space that exists on the left side would that mess with my bullet travel and...

Question regarding Browning Hells Canyon Long Range Rifle Stock

I have noticed it since I bought it, and though I am plenty happy on how it is shooting comparing it from my Browning BLR in Long distance shooting but I am wondering if it could be better. Anyways, the stock along the barrel seems to have more space between it on the right side vs on the left...

Food Ideas for Archery Elk Hunt

Nice.. yeah I was thinking the same with breakfast and lunch for sure. As for suppers we used to each bring 3 premade dinners. Each would take turn thawing it and throwing into a slow cooker. I am hoping we can come to agreement with doing group dinners while we are at basecamp and pack our...
