Everything about travel trailers. I am convinced no company that puts them together, or makes parts for them ever hired a good mechanic or engineer. I mean really...... should you have to do things like find where all the screws lying on the floor came from every time you walk inside it...
SE Montana has sadly turned into a "opportunity unit" very few of the 160+ class bucks remain on public land, if you find one it is a rare event and you are one of the few to lay eyes on it. I stopped hunting there 2 years ago and as hard as it was to not visit with locals that have become my...
350 to 1000 target. what's next 1000-2000 change in target? 350 was the target to limit the number of an animal that is problematic anywhere other than vast areas of woodland with little population of pets, livestock and people. This is why Colorado is in trouble with the "plan" they have...
Yep they are racking and stacking stupid tourists in Yellowstone. Might be a record year and have to close the season early

The pass. Starting is Poncha is way too much road riding and the climb would be insane hard. Starting at the pass is still no joke as the elevation gain in the beginning is tough and at altitude.
Make the time. There is NO better hobby that will get your legs into shape for mountain hiking while not destroying your knees. Packing out an elk is almost child's play once you get biking legs. I MTB 3 days a week as long as weather provides.
Something way cool about riding above timberline. I guess cuz it is so out of the ordinary. Living at 740 feet of elevation doesn't help when you only have 3-4 days to acclimate to that elevation. legs were saying yes but lungs and heart said "slow down boy"
Love it. I have the Neuron Carbon fiber 8 SL. Beat the crap out of it since the covid outbreak and only had to replace the dropper seat post. Only thing on my year and model i don't care for are the brakes. I put 200mm rotors on it and it was a lot better than the 180 that it came with. Newer...
7 years ago riding the Monarch Crest trail was a bucket list. I knocked it out for a third time last week. Roughly 36 miles up to around 11.5k elevation. I gotta admit it was harder that 7 years ago but it was still epic fun with great riding with a lot above timberline. I also did the 401 in...
Sounds like some of you care more about her personal life instead of the wolf legislation. At least she introduced something worth looking at. Unless you want wolves all over Colorado carry on. Science, data and plans don't mean anything to the political left when it comes to wolves...
Colorado 1 point unit. Crowded as hell in my normal places. Last might I did a 1000 foot gain in less than mile hike to a sweet meadow i saw on sat photos. Got there and a hippy was playing a wooden flute in the meadow. Just can't get away from people in this unit easy. Shot this one 3.5 miles...
