The person who spotted it gets the right of first refusal. My hunting circle isn't large, everyone is on the same page. Just make sure your group is aligned ahead of time.
My team has more of a problem with being too generous with animals. Our fights go more like this "you shoot it", "no...
For a starter Antelope I would worry more about gps, optics, learning the gutless method and a good cooler full of ice. The additional gear is great to have for those of us who have accumulated it over the years, but definitely not a necessity.
I do mostly ground with great results. I've liked the thin flat style better, but should probably give the round sticks a shot again after reading these comments.
Like others have said, I'm a firm believer that if you don't like what's happening, step up and do it yourself. I've witnessed what you're talking about, but have a hard time griping because at least the coaches are putting in the time. It's a pain in the butt to organize practices, leave work...
I generally use bottles. Bladders have failed me a few times soaking the inside of my pack. I keep going back to bladders occasionally because in theory it seems like a better system--but I haven't stuck with it consistently because of failures.
One of the best decisions I've made was upgrading from a Badlands 2200 to and Exo 3500. The Exo is so versatile and hauls loads so well. I really wanted to like the Mystery Ranch packs, but could never get them to feel good on my back (fwiw this was a couple of years ago).

What ammo are you running through your. 300WM? I recently bought the same gun, haven't shot it yet. As a starting point, I am curious what yours likes?
Do you guys run into ticks as much in the summer and fall as you do in the spring? I've encountered them pretty thick in the spring, but in the fall I only see them on deer I've killed.
I believe in second chances for most things, including this at some point. But the punishment is too light. If he were to pay for a hunt for that caliber of bull it would certainly cost more than $5K, then add the cost of the investigation, etc. I also wish the suspension was closer to 5 years.
Wow, didn't realize that this was something you were dealing with, what a joke! I think everyone is guilty of a little internet sleuthing now and again (i.e looking at the background in pics/videos, etc.), but you've got to be a total loser to go that much effort to to follow someone around...
