    Throw a "hot hand" pack in one, and they will go down colder then I would want to hunt in. Without the warmer, I've been in the single digits with ~10mph wind with no problems.     Before throwing money at a problem, I would try the free stuff. like shooting prone (fix or discard that bench), have somebody else shoot it at 200, and maybe run a box test at 100 yards and see how your rifle tracks.
