Tell me about Great Falls, MT
I live in P-West and you really can't compare P-West to the City of Pueblo. Not real sure about the dynamic of Great Falls but it sounds very similar and within 10 minutes of the crime and congestion you can have a nice area. Close enough to the city for good jobs, entertainment, groceries...- wolfpup

How Long Meat in Freezer
I pulled some 2019 deer roasts out a few months ago to make room for the 21 season to make jerky and they were still perfect. Found a 2017 antelope backstrap that got tucked away as well during the search. It was vacuum sealed as well. You would have thought I won the lottery as much ruckus...- wolfpup

Bolt action .22 LR recommendation
I am going to buy a bolt action .22 LR to hopefully help my wife practice getting onto target faster and pulling the trigger sooner. We will either shoot targets or prairie dogs. She shoots a Ruger American now and I could get one in .22 LR but wondered if anybody has better experience or... -

Freezer Alarms
I had this issue a while back. One time my wife didn't shut it completely, the second time we believe meat shifted and cracked the door open. Either way I installed these door locks from amazon. Hornady Interlock Bullets?
I have been using the Hornady Interlocks for my .243 - 100 gr, .270 - 130 gr, and .30-06 - 180 gr and all shoot just fine for me. I can get good groups on the range and have been all pass through shots on all animals so that's all I really require!- wolfpup

You might be onto something with a .22 pistol. Thinking about the single action 22 revolver cabelas has for $149.99. Doesn't have to be pretty but light would be better! My dad tried with the .30-06 and was a few inches lower than the head. Nothing left to eat after that blow!- wolfpup
