    I don't have any advice, and may never hunt elk, but I just wanted to chime in and say... you guys are seriously AWESOME!! The way you all rallied up to help is just fantastic! I doubt I'll ever get stab at a WY elk, so I will follow along and live vicariously through you on your hunt! GOOD LUCK!

    Nope... Havent shot much, but I did learn early, and I'm a bow hunter, same principals I guess. This is my very first hunting rifle of my own. I was shooting sitting on my butt using a military ruck sack as a base. :) It took about 8 weeks or so to get my dial.
