I drove by there a lot and see quite a few turkeys. I’ve never thought of hunting that area but I love fishingnthe river over there. Good luck!

I have the VX3i with cds and it’s pretty amazing. I also have the VX2 and only reason I don’t have another one of those is they stopped making them.

Crossbows - CenterPoint Any Good?

I bought a centerpoint sniper last year. It’s pretty solid for the price. Shot a couple deer with it and a few of my buddies have also used it for deer. No complaints about it at all

May I ask which unit you were hunting? I’m planning my first trip out west this fall and saving my points while drawing a second choice tag. Sure hope it’s not the unit I’ve been looking at

Joining the Illinois Exodus

I grew up in the south burbs, crossed over to the IN side 15 years ago. Been great. Still have my LL for IL and can hunt Kingsbury, willow slough or lasalle FWA all with in a 30 minute drive and some great fishing in the KKK

He have 4 guys going. We have a group of 8 with points built up but we can’t all make it this year so half of us are doing a zero point unit. We have a week. Friday-following Sunday. With a day of travel each way. We’re not trophy hunters, just looking for meat so we’re not very picky

Me and group of guys are coming out to do some public land antelope hunting this fall. We’re looking at 16,22 or 23. I know there isn’t much access but I know it’s there and we’re willing to walk a long ways. Can you hunt any of these units with an antelope and Mule deer for tag? I know the unit...
