    Zero fat added to any of my wild game ground meat. I like cooking it that way and I can make jerky out of it.

    I’ve never had any issues with higher power scopes. Anything below 6x is worthless on a ffp scope. Sfp scopes are much better at lower power than ffp scopes. I prefer higher magnification scopes and can use them with no issues. Apparently, some folks can’t use them.

    I emailed Nosler a few weeks ago and asked if it would be offered as bullets for reloaders. They said not at this time. Well, that didn’t take long at all. 🤣 Construction wise, are these comparable to Game King bullets?

    Maybe Federal should take the word “bonded” off of their boxes then. They sure look and act bonded to me. Maybe you should reach out to them and let them know about their error.

    Reloading in hot weather

    Developing hunting loads in the summer has proven dumb, regardless of powder used. I do all of my development during the temps that I will be using them. I love RL26. I’ve never had any issues with it whatsoever.

    If my groups were ever that large, I would change powders. Never seen a reason to adjust seating depth to get less than moa, ever. Sounds like y’all are having fun with it though.

    That’s a bummer. I’ve never had to fool with loads that finicky that seating depth tighten up groups.

    Chasing the lands is a waste of time. I’ve never had to play with seating depth to get the velocity I want and accuracy. COAL measurement is fine. BTO is cool and all, but not needed. It’s importance is grossly overrated.

    Big Game for 7-08. 2.80” has worked in every 7-08 that I’ve loaded for. I don’t know or care how far off the lands I am.

    How do you volunteer in your Community?

    I’ve been a member of a Masonic Lodge for about 25 years. I’ve been volunteering as a paramedic every year for a hunt for terminally ill kids, handicapped hunters, and wounded soldiers since 2007. It’s in Alabama and called the Buckmasters Life Hunt.

    School me on compressed loads and Standard Deviation

    10-4. My Tikka has a 24” barrel and has 143 grain eld-x going 2750 fps. My 142 grain ABLR loads are going 2800 fps. I hope I get to shoot something with these loads this year.
