    I’ve had buddies do limited entry elk in Colorado and didn’t see or hear an elk. Lower point units but either way it doesn’t get me excited.

    As mentioned, Lots of hunts, and good hunts can be had for under 5 points for both species. Other than high point draws you are not going to get away from people in Colorado. But that doesn't mean you can't have a great hunt. Unless something major changes, I will never have more than 5...

    It is a deadline and like i said if they are going to meet it. Either way they will have my left over app on the first day. If they start missing deadlines is where the lawsuits really start to come into play. At this point there is nothing they can be sued for, nothing legitimate anyways.

    I have heard otherwise. I've heard that they no longer have access to the credit card updates and thus what happens, happens. I'm not sure why they wouldnt be able to open period again.

    I completely understand them wanting to go to a 90% with a roll. And frankly I don't have an issue with it. My issue is the huge price increase. Even though they think they are matching other states it is a huge barrier.

    This is correct. If you applied for both elk and antelope you count as 2 applications. Buying a bonus point counts as an application. So who knows how many people actually appplied for hunts. Odds could still be better.

    Most western states have a limited number of tags so there is no unlimited printing of tags. Colorado is the only example of unlimited tags with their otc elk hunts. And more people every year go on those.

    When will you all understand that you can go buy a hand written license from sportsmans and 5 minutes later apply for a tag with that license. The azgfd website can not tell if your license ends on the draw deadline. Everything they do is non functional

    8. Even though 9 is one of the best early hunt in the state its one of the worst late hunts.
