    Horses in elk country

    I used to work as a ranch hand on a dude ranch doing overnight and packing people in for camping trips. I could usually handle the horses and mules… now getting the people to ride the horse without an issue was a different story. If I really didn’t like someone I buy and give them two horse🤣.

    As other mentioned camo is not needed. I have a variety of different camo and colored jackets and pants. Spend money on boot, socks, and a wool layer. When hiking in I try and bring a second base layer shirt and a couple pairs of socks.

    Need some help deciding what to carry in on day trips. I have a primos tripod for shooting off of, and then I have a glassing tripod for binos or spotting scope. Should I carry both tripods or is my light weight shooting sticks and leave the primos back at camp?

    working on tying to build up a load for my 7mm-08 using 140gr AB with BR2 primers Varget 41gr 2645fps 41.5 2693 41.8 2718 42.0 2752 Big Game 45gr 2590 45.5 2619 47.3 2716 Remington accutip stock 139- 2805 Any reason why these loads seem slow compared to the reload data posted?
