    I bought the metcalf with plans on getting the mule pack later. I like the mule as a day option or maybe shed hunts. I would definitely look into this in the future. But with how well the Metcalf compresses may never need the smaller one.

    Pack hunters in nm

    So got my first pack. Super excited, no more carrying quarters on my shoulder. However no hunts this years. I will be out with family on their hunts so i hope i can pack a deer and elk this year. I also plan on doing some otc bear hunting this year.
