Favorite upland loads?
Runnings sells the below HV Dakota Country Pheasant. Says Federal cartridge on the side of the box. about $2-$3 less per box vs. branded Federal. It's what I use for Pheasants / Sharptails...- Walkathon

Just realized they are Huns :) I saw the feather stuck to the head of the one towards the center and thought they were a gambles quail or something like that. Didn't look close enough. Never have eaten a partridge either. Shot at a couple and have never connected. Congrats!- Walkathon

I've never eaten that type of quail- I'm guessing they eat really well? Only eaten bobwhites in the past and they were great.- Walkathon

It's from the Monty Python- Holy Grail movie. They're talking about how the coconuts ended up in either Europe, or Britain, can't remember for sure. They didn't have horses so one guy was clicking them together like it was a horse galloping and they were acting like they were riding horses. -

2024 dreams and plans
Hoping for cow elk in WY. Definitely hunting grouse in MN. Probably hunting whitetails in NE. Will see how the drawings pan out this spring.- Walkathon

@Nameless Range I've caught them on accident through the ice in MN, but never fished for them. Looks like a heck of a stringer full! Congrats. I've heard that they are good to eat but always threw mine back.- Walkathon
