    Not sure if it's relevant, but I shot a lot of deer with the 240 GR .44 mag XTP out of a sabot with my .50 cal muzzleloader and they worked really well.

    I bought one from Walmart in the mid or late 90's, can't remember for sure. It shoots really well. I still use it. .30-06. Not a bad gun in my opinion. It was my only high powered rifle for about a decade.

    Interesting. Thanks for sharing. Not that anyone cares, but I probably won't be applying in hopes of drawing in the random drawings at $75 a chance. Wonder if will affect over all NR app numbers if it's implemented. Especially if that's where the money is going.

    My brother has one that my grandfather brought back from WWII. He has shot it, and I think he reloads for it, but I'm not positive about the reloading part.

    There are some whales moving along the coast. My wife and I were in Depoe bay earlier this week and the DNR guys at the education center at the entrance to the harbor said they had just seen a couple of whales about a half mile out from the shore.
