Quote: What happened to understanding where your opponent came from to work towards a common compromise?
Compromise is great......unless it’s always the same side that is compromising. When this happens one side surrenders it’s values while the other side marches to victory! memtb
Richmond and other large cities dominate the political process.....this is why we can “never” allow the socialist to get rid of the “Electoral College”! memtb
That’s a beautiful rifle, far too pretty for me to own. It wouldn’t be that pretty very long! If it kills as pretty as it looks......it will be deadly! :) memtb
rjthehunter, I had the opportunity to shoot a friend’s Ruger #1 in a 416 Rigby. I didn’t find the recoil offensive at all....however, that was from a standing position. Shooting it from the bench may have been a different experience! ;) I should’ve had my wife shoot it.....but she was...
Things may get bad in Virginia very quickly. The governor has threaten to force compliance using the National Guard.....there are many folks (I wish I were going) headed to Virginia for the January 20th. gathering to show solidarity with the citizens of Virginia against this unconstitutional...
I’ve only loaded 270 Hornady SP’s in my H&H, and was using WW 760. I was several grains above the suggested book loads of the day, but, it was a listed load in an ancient Hornady Loading Manual. I don’t know the velocities, as I didn’t have a chronograph at that time. But, it was very, very...

Myself and a friend had just a little over a year prior, relocated to Wyoming for work. We were Louisiana boys, and were clueless about elk hunting. We were hunting the...
Mark, We’ve suffered more than a few disappointments, the majority were self-imposed. The most notable being, for the previous 3 hunting seasons, passing on multiple easy kills on small bulls or cows, only to go home empty handed a couple of weeks later. This year, we decided to take the first...
I’ve never been “bitten” by the Python bug! It offers nothing that you couldn’t get from a “Smith” with a few extra minutes of work (fitting/ polishing) during assembly and a little “richer” blueing. IMO, it’s merely a “status symbol”.....much like some other firearms and a motorcycle brand...
