    Private vs. Public in the East

    Its largely private in my neck of the woods and often not free unless you are a friend or family. There are large public forests but they are exactly that. Not an easy hunt and certainly not an easy retrieve.

    I am watching the sunrise over a lake as I type this. Honestly, I never get tired of seeing nature’s beauty. It’s absolutely therapeutic for me. The old saying is “the journey is the destination“. I am fine having tag soup as long as I can get outside and try my luck.

    I grew up on the east coast beaches but there are several places I just can’t go back to. The non stop development (for better or worse) have changed things forever. If I went back and only saw a few old fat people sunbathing, I would consider that a win!
