    Take Back Your Elk

Gerald Martin I think you misunderstand my position. Allow me to explain. I operate 100% inside the law. As I have previously stated, I play the cards as they are dealt by the respective legislatures. Comments have been made during this discussion to the effect, landowners shouldn’t be...

    Take Back Your Elk

Oh! Wildlife is owned equally by every resident! I see the light now. Theres 2,116,000 plus residents in New Mexico. The elk herd is estimated at 70-90,000 That means you own an Ear. Maybe. If I were you I’d hunt something I had a bigger share in. Maybe fishing.

    Take Back Your Elk

Lets look at it this way Bama. It costs money to raise cattle. But cattle are worth money. There are pastures for grazing and pastures for winter hay. Seed cost, fertilizer, pumps to move water either electric or diesel cost money. Equipment to plant it and maintain it cost money and burns...

“Some states make them non-transferable beyond family ;) “ Would be totally fine if they went away completely, and definitely think you shouldn't be allowed to sell them.” Why don’t you give your expert analysis of this quote taken from another post on this very subject. Exactly what is it...

    Take Back Your Elk

Very interesting. I’ve been hunting elk in New Mexico for ten years. Buy the tags from the same landowner. Any New Mexico resident that wants to hunt that ranch can buy one too. Who are any of you to tell that man what he can or should do with his tags? His family have been ranchers on the...

Not only that, they sold your email to 100 other companies to send you more crap. Every time you look up a website these days they offer a measly 10% for your email so they can sell it for 10x that and you get enough junk to last a lifetime. Over it.

    A hunt I’d rather forget

In time though, I find myself thinking less about her passing and more about the years of faithful companionship and all the cool and crazy stuff she did. And the impact a good dog has on a person.

Man that sucks. I had one of those little black and tan dogs that went everywhere I did mostly because she was compact and didn’t take up much room. I lost that dog about 12 yrs ago. Know how u feel, would’ve done the same. I still think of that dog often.
